Thanksgiving Break is almost here!!!! Just a couple more days until we get to eat turkey and see our families! First things, first...do I really sound like that? Most people hate hearing their voices, and I'm no exception. So I plugged my flash drive containing my talk into my computer, already shaking my head. I watched it through from beginning to end. You can watch my TED talk recording here . PC: TED Conference I did try to incorporate things we did in class. I added animations to my PowerPoint slides and used the black background so the audience would focus back on me. I also tried to make the visuals match with what I was talking about. Something I would change about my preparation, is trying to narrow down my time. I practiced my speech a couple times and kept coming up with 6 minutes. I did cut out content already before I even got to that point. I feel like next time I need to reevaluate what content is important and what isn't completely necessary. After...
